About Action Trackchair
The Action Trackchair made its way into the marketplace in 2009. Some years before, the creator’s teenage son suffered a spinal cord injury in a car accident, leaving him a paraplegic. At the time, Tim Swenson was the owner of Action Sports, a power sports shop in Marshall, MN. Tim, along with his wife Donna, wanted to provide their son with a way to get back outdoors and over terrain that was inaccessible in his wheelchair. Tim began to experiment with applying a track system onto a wheelchair.
While watching his son adjust to his new normal, Action Trackchair became a larger mission — to bring mobility in the outdoors to many across the country, and now the world. Tim designed, and now manufactures, the Action Trackchair in a new state of the art factory in his hometown of Marshall, MN. There is no doubt that the Action Trackchair is changing thousands of lives for the better. Not only for the injured or disabled person, but to their entire circle, who spend time outdoors with them.
